About Atomic Intel

Last updated 10 October 2026

A plain-English brief on the news that moves the US and Australian share markets, ranked by how much it actually matters.

Why it exists

Most market news is either too much or too late. Atomic Intel reads more than 100 data feeds every day, works out which stories really moved prices, and explains them in a few sentences. It covers Wall Street and the ASX together, because what happens overnight in New York shapes the morning in Sydney.

Who is behind it

Atomic Intel is an independent Australian publication, built and run by a small team using AI. We are not owned by a bank, broker or fund, and nobody pays us to mention a company. See how the brief is made.

What we promise

  • Honest about AI. We say clearly that AI writes the brief, and we explain how it is checked.
  • Sources first. Figures come from official sources and real reports, not guesses.
  • Hold back when unsure. If a fact cannot be confirmed, we do not publish the update.
  • Own our mistakes. When we get something wrong, we fix it and say so.
  • Information, not advice. We explain what is happening. We never tell you what to buy or sell.
